Launch of Award Programme at Adama Science and Technology University
On Wednesday 11th December 2013 first semester grants of ETB375 each were paid through the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia to 25 girl students at the School of Natural Sciences at Adama Science and Technology University. The subjects of the awardees are chemistry (5), biology (5), mathematics (2), statistics (5), geology (4) and s.science (4). The students originate from the following Regions: Amhara (5), Benishangul-Gumuz (1), Oromia (15) and S.N.N.P.R. (4).
Mr. Ronald Stott, chairman of the board of trustees commented "The selection of the awardees and the opening of their bank accounts with the campus branch of the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia naturally took some time. Future payments will be made promptly at the beginning of each semester".
