Revision of Charitable Objectives
On the 2nd January 2013 the Charity Commission in England and Wales approved EFSAF’s application to change the objectives of the charity. The change now enables the charity to provide grant assistance to students at all Ethiopian universities.
Mr. Ronald Stott, chairman of the board of trustees commented:
"This change was necessary to give the charity additional flexibility in its operations. Over the last few years the Government of Ethiopia has been expanding the university sector by establishing new institutions in the provinces. The charity will not now be precluded from matching these developments"
